Team Help

After playing the unfinished 300 mod, I thought "Maybe I can make something so there's a team of 3 vs ALL and the team of 3 has powerups making them like the Spartans" So Here I am wondering if it is at all possible to change what weapons spawn with which teams (Or if chosen teams can start with shields vs no sheilds, powerups,etc) Sparta (team of 3) would have a small advantage over the everybody else team because of either their weapon, or armour. Anyone have any clue how to do this? Thanks in advance
