Can I edit the lightmap AND add [mach] tags?

I know that you must remove the lightmap to remove the green tint from machines, so how do I darken my map (No, I don't want to skin it)?

rebuild the map with the containment lightmap once you've placed everything cause it doesnt effect machs but entity's bsp view can't load a sbsp with the wrong lightmap

So I need to edit everything, THEN put in the lightmap from Containment?
(Rebuild... rebuild... so I save the tag from Containment [recursive, parsed] and use Build to put it in afterwards?)

no use H2C like you were converting your map to containment only skip the sbsp part

So it won't work if I do it that way? I haven't used H2C before and would rather not use it unless I have to.
Well, I tried to find H2C, but the "download" link goes to another forum, and the download mirrors are removed. How can I get it? Anyone want to PM it or email it to me?

lmao you can make a map dark by editing the sky in entity. go to the [sky] tag click the sky go to tools then meta editor scroll down to darkness and make it 1.5, 2 or 2.5

Yes, but I can't change the color of the lighting.

you shoud be able to change the color of lighting using the uber lightmap tool. You can find it in utilities section. Other thatn that Im sure you could do it the way you mentioned using entity but i'm not sure if it will work accordingly. H2C would be your best bet. Good Luck
