so...I asked a couple people, and they said just use the lightmap tool in entity's bsp veiwer.

so i open that up, and it looks NORMAL.

Obviously, trying to use the lightmap tool in entity, on some thing that isnt rendering properly, isn't going to werk.

So, can someone help me/tell me why the wheel is doing this?

thanks, in advance for helping me.

Well what im going to tell you will make the MACH be a dark gray. Open up your map in entity and go to the SCNR tag. Find the lightmap and null it out.

well for sanctuary it dims the light a little but not much and its definitly not dark. To null the lightmap click on the scnr tag in entity. right click and hit idents then scroll down untill you find lightmap[0]. right click and hit swap and null it out. If you want to edit your lightmap (not sure if you can after you null it out) you can find the lightmap editor in the utilities section.

That was included in entity's bsp viewer. So open the maps bsp and click the lightmap tab. From there, you can change the lightmap and get a preview of how it will look.

eternal, if you want, transfer containment's lightmap over to sanctuary. That will work for machines not turning green. Then from there, you can edit the lightmap to your liking. If anything, you can compare and contrast sanctuary's old lightmap with it's new one and make them exactly the same.

I might just leave it like it is if I were you.

Looks kinda neat, doesn't it?
