Help with plasma cannon in multiplayer..
Sorry about all of the questions, but I've been away from modding for a loonng time. Since the single player MC and Arbiter have an animation for the fixed plasma cannon (in single player), is there some way I could assign these animations to the masterchief_mp and elite_mp (respectively)? I'm trying to make it operable for my multiplayer map, and the human turret animation just doesn't cut it.
Halo 3 ruined everything..
You'd have to transfer over the Chief or Arbiter JMAD from the map you get the plasma cannon from.
JMADs only have animations for whatever vehicles or weapons that appear in that map if the character is able to use it.
Your only other option is making them use the animation of another vehicles, but it would end up looking stupid.

I checked, and there is only one JMAD for the cannon, I'm pretty sure it only works for the single player masterchief and the Arbiter. For it to be operable, I may have to change it to the human turret animation. How would I go about doing this in Entity (the only way I know how is in Insolence, and I don't want crappy Insolence noises in my map)? And, would I be able to edit the human turret animation so it doesn't look as bad?
