I can't find any tutorials on how to do custom bumps/make your bitmaps into bumps properly and how to save them as w/e format they normally are or even dxt w/e (dxt 1, 2/3, or 4/5 bumps, p8 bumps, etc.)
I need a tutorial/for some1 to help me with this/tell me how to do this. IDK what programs to use either (probably entity and the entity ue 1.6 that recently came out so ya)
I really would like to know how to do all of this and I'd appreciate it a lot.
PLZ HELP/POST! THNKZ!

Definitely use entity ue 1.6. Find it here:

Basically, find the bump you want to extract, and save it somewhere. open up photoshop, and then you treat the bump as an a8r8g8b formated picture.
To learn to edit those go here:

I don't have a good calculator to use for those kind of conversions in that tutorial though. Can you upload yours or give me a link to a good one?

Yeah, but my calculator sucks. You need one like this and mine couldn't do it...
-Calc of windows to make conversions Hexadecimal to Decimal.
