I AM NEW, AND DON'T KNOW PROCESS TO EVEN BEGIN MODDING. HELP

I recently decided to begin modding my Halo 2, as I have a lackluster of entertainment since I don't have WoW anymore (cries). SO! All I know is that you need an Action Replay Cable, a System Link, and Splinter Cell. I have no idea on the process to begin, get my Xbox compatible, connect to my computer, ANYTHING! I could use a detailed guide to the WHOLE THING! yes... I am a total and utter n00b. Please, help. Either here, or email me at

ok.. this is one thing I hate most....
If you never been to that site, then you don't know how to mod... BUT! if you have havent... then you alson wouldn't be able to find yourself around.... xbox-scene.com appears to noobs at first to be a chipped modding site.. but he is looking to softmod obviously.. so what i cant wrap my head around is how people half-a$$ help people
, by poiinting them to a general website... so.. a more exact link would be

He didn't ask for a modding SITE! he asked for a modding tutorial or guide.. if im wrong please tell me.. but it doesn't appear to be so..

Whats your deal? StalkingGrunt911 pointed him in that direction because we aren't aloud to discuss xbox modding and that site, just like halomods, has a search button, so StalkingGrunt911 response was not halfassed.
