Take away the lighting in Coagulation

Alright I understand a little bit about modding so I'm not gonna act completely retarded when anyone explains it but I'm still kinda new to this thing. O.k. I have changed the sky to the one from midship and I used a lightmap tool but all that did was give me a starry sky and make the ground and base a little darker but half of the map is still sunny I don't know what tag I null out or edit or replace to take away the sun so I can make the level a night level. I really appreciate anyone who helps me out with this and if there is already a tutorial on this that I somehow missed I'm very sorry I'm on a dial up modem and I've already gone through most of them that looked like they would help so just direct me there with the url or something so I don't want to waste anyones time asking questions that have already been answered.

Try using the one in Entity.

Also, if you want to get rid of the shadows. I heard you just completely black everything out...save...then change it to the lightmap you want.

oh ok thanks dude, so is there a tool in Entity that would allow me to do this or do I have to go through a certain process to null the sun light? Thanks again for all the help.

to null the sun:

open map in entity go to the sky tag click on the sky used in ur map

click on it and display indents, then swap the lens tag to null

that should null it
