Pelican / Phantom flipping question
Pelican / Phantom flipping question
Basically, is there any real way to get the pelican and/or phantom to stop flipping wildly across the map, so that it's easier to get in it than to get killed by it?

IN ENTITY
1 - Import a machine into the map, make sure the machine is big enough to hold the Pelican.
2 - Spawn the Machine under the pelican on the map and possition(you can type in the cords or use the BSP viewer)
3 - Open the machine's model tag and null every Ident that is a "shad" shader
Then congrats... ur done

Also you why don't you stop sitting there and telling us how we know how to do it but won't tell you..... I use common sence and found this out how to do that on my own. There are many tutorials and places that this has already been told how to do. How about you going and finding out just like we did, reading and Trial and error. Then instead of saying how we arn't helping, you could be helping and not just wasting space. I'm not saying this to be mean or tryin to start one of those flame wars but just use some common sence next time and you solve this mans problem.XBC-Requiem wrote:Once again, those of you who know what to do fail to help those of us who don't. I'm sure he knows about the mach thing, but rather than saying that, why don't you explain, step by step, how he would go about doing this?

MilyardoX2, like I said, I applaud those of you who do help. At the time of posting this topic, I was unable to find a tutorial on how to do this.
Personally, what should be explained is how to copy a [mach], how to spawn things, and so-forth, because I personally have found little to no help when searching, since most of what comes up is useless. I am under the impression that we use different techniques for searching.
1. Using Insolence, correct? And how do you make sure that it's big enough?
2. How do you upen the machine up? And how can a BSP viewer be used? I know that personally, I have had trouble getting one to work, and I know that many other people have, too.
3. This seems self-explanitory to me, but someone who is new may not know how to do this.
I was not being a jerk, but merely stating the fact that, despite trying to help, most of the posts I see on the forum don't explain how to do what needs to be done. And, once again, I did not do this to flame anyone. I personally have been trying to make this work for quite some time, and have spent countless hours looking through topic after topic of results that didn't explain a thing.
I apologize for anything that may have come across the wrong way.

You can use what we tell you and find tutorials already written instead of us having to write things out every time. there are tutorials on how to spawn machines using entity. We cant do all the work for you. this is how people figure things out on their own. nothings wrong with asking questions but asking us to write a full tutorial on it is ridiculous

No, I don't know how, that's the reason I jumped in here, because I'd like to learn as well.
I have looked for Entity tutorials, but RARELY find anything of use.
I know that you can't do all of the work for us. I've helped people before, giving them step-by-step instructions, and it only takes a few moments of my time to give them what they need. I don't think that it's rediculous, and if you can find tutorials for this kind of stuff (which I can't), please point us in the correct direction. It would be highly appreciated.
And I apologize if I have caused any problems.
