hey since it is illegal to give someone a map for free.... i was wondering if it is illegal to make a patch of a clean map that you can apply to a modded map so it becomes clean again

Thats not illegal...however I don't beleave its possible. Once modded, its stays modded.

You should have the clean maps yourself. Aquiring them illegally by patching another map is no different than downloading a full map.

You can find the clean maps either on your disc, or if you're talking about the new maps, via the dlc disc, or from Xbox Live.
