2 skinning problems

Okay, Ive been trying to make a skin pack (applies to shared.map) and There are a few problems I have.

1st one, Vehicles from a distance are solid black, mostly the ghost, but even the banshee and warthog.

2nd one, I skinned the banshee, and it pretty much stays its default colors.

Any help please?

1. Remove the lower level lods from the map.

2. Please elaborate on that question. Do you mean the cubemap? (the purple glossy stuff.)

uh, I dont know all the technical terms, but yea it stays all purple (except a few parts)

What are the lower lods?

lods = Levels of Detail

Use the Machinima Companion. IF you can't find it around the downloads section or utilities i'll post it for you.

1. Make sure Mip maps are ON when saving the bitmap.
2. Delete the cache maps on the X or Y drive (there's 1 or 2 of them). or internalize the bitmap.

I see 3 options on machinima, wich one do I use?
