Ok, so i downloaded a modding thingy, that allowed me to open maps, change some things around, such as vehicle speed, higher jumping, etc, and then i saved all of the changes. Next, I went down to fix map enscription and clicked it
It opened a map resigner program attatched to it, and I opened the map and clicked resign. Next I uploaded the new map using smartftp and rebooted my xbox. When I tried to play lockout (the map) it said Failed to load map. Please help me get my original map enscription back or help me fix this. THanks

ok see it like this:
2 types of map.
1. The maps that are on the CD - These require encryptomatic signing. You can do this in dothalo and just about every other app.
2. The maps that you download - These require a slightly different signing method that results in them regaining their original signature. Use the CoolSpot31 Resigner for them.

prey since your new and a well respected Xbox scener I will tell you this nicely. We cant discuss tdata moding because it can lead to cheating.

wow thats the first time ive ever seen you say something nice...
as for prey hes not new... hes a long time suck up to the halo scene.
*long time member
and btw hes saying Lockout so theres no reason to bring up DLC maps
what you can try doing is removing the Auto Update as well as the DLC
so rename the 2 folders in the E:\\4D530064\\ to anything else but what they are now then it should work

what do you mean: rename the folders? are you talking about the folders Maps? or the Whole /E/TDATA/4d530064 folder

There are 2 folders inside "E\TDATA\4d530064" called "$c" and "$s" (I think that's it), just add a letter to the end of it. So instead of "$c" it will be "$ca" and instead of "$s" it will be "$sa".
