Making a duplicated Plasma Pistol.

Basically, I want a carbine to be able to shoot a charged shot as well.
I would also like it to be as perfect as possible, not just an hlmt swap.
How would I do this w/o losing the plasma pistol?
I also want the charged shot to appear red...

As perfect as possible? Not sure what you mean, but you can just swap the carbine_slug.proj with the charge shot on the PP using DotHalo.

You want the carbine to have a secondary projectile?

Yeah i think you need to add a secondary projectile, and change the firing type to the same as plasma pistol.

duplicate a projectile chunk, reference the projectile you want to come out when it's charged, and then look at what firing type the pp is in the meta editor, and make your carbine that firing type.

just go to entity chunck cloner then pp and take the secondary proj and the second trigger and copy to clipboard then add to carbine then in meta editor make it so secondary proj overrites gernades
