How do you change what the Halo 2 logo says on the main page of the main menu? I've seen it changed to websites, different words, etc. How do I change it? Do I have to edit a bitmap? Or is it a string? If it's a bitmap, how could I change that or do I have to make my own?

The Halo 2 logo is a bitmap that you can extract and edit with a program such as Photoshop. If you don't know how to skin there are plenty tutorials on this site.

I know what hes talking about. I tryed changing the whole word to something different and it gives me the filled in word behind an outline of where "halo 2" used to be.

To get rid of the ghost Halo you need to remove or make a new alpha map for the bitmap.

I assume you can locate and extract the original logo...
so do that
And then in photoshop click image>size and write down the dimensions
Click file>new and copy those dimensions in.
When you save, move the drop-down to .dds and save as the proper format.
