You will need an ethernet card to ftp to your xbox.

i dont have the inter net at all all u need to do to ftp is put one end of the system link cable to your box then on to your comp thenh configure your internet settings just right thats what i did.

Yeah what darkshallfall said. I'm dial up and i mod all the time.... well i used to until my comp crashed and have been down since. All you need to do is configure your computer right to use the NIC card for sharing and the 56kmodem for the internet.

yeah my friends told me not to even bother with live until i get a faster internet

Get xlink, I find that the program is more user friendly than xbconnect
