skinning problem

ok, i'm trying to skin a bsp... i swapped the bsp's default shad with coag's blood cliffs, but the image is sooo spread out that idk wat to do :(

both these images have the same shad, but y is the 2nd one more detailed?

I seen sumptin like this in a containment mod skinned to be bg. my only thought would be to possibly open the dds and put the same image in there 4 times and try that so whgen it strethes it not so bad.

the quality is too low... it looks realy bad if i do that

i dunno then man its just how bungie does there textures. try editing the original texture that is used and fill it wit the blood gulch one.

Your using a low resolution image and stretching it accross the entire bsp floor...Theshader was not meant to be used like that...Modify the original one and it may help...
There's no way to re do the bsp to properly suit your needs the way your asking.

It can be made better but prolly not how you want it. Have you tryed what scotty and I suggested?

yup, and it was a major onprovement, but it still looks like a background image... not somthin u'd walk on
