when i try to ftp my map to xbox it says...

ok first off some1 told me i had to put halo 2 on my hdd well i didnt,i just have it in my drive on my xbox opened up d/maps and i did all the steps necessary to get a grunt in multiplayer but when i try to ftp the modded map it says this...
I click overwrite.
then this happens
then all my maps suddenly disappear

first of all your FTP'ing to your DVD ....You can't do that...lol. You have to have halo 2 on your Xbox HDD.. Usually E:/Games/Halo2/Maps/ETC but for bigger hdd people its usually F:/Games/Halo2/Maps/Etc.. But it depends you know?

you can get them off the disc but you can't put them back On the disc.

Ok my freakin hdd is to small to hold it so imma rip it then back it up but i cant find the place that tells you what you can delete to make it smaller do you know of one?

Then dont bring over ALL of the maps.
Just mainmenu+ both shared maps, the fonts, and what ever map you actually want to mod/play.

well see the thing is i wanna do a machinima vid and im gonna use system link so...will it work?oh yeah and also if the host box has the matg elites as grunts will that count for the linked box?
