i dont have an xbox or halo yet

but i jux got dothalo and i was wondering if i could modify maps downloaded from online

Why would you want to Mod if you can't use it. If you can't use an Xbox you can mod Halo PC or CE.

Also, Downloading or sending Maps on the Internet is Illegal.

im going to get an xbox soon

ill ither buy one or wait until my friend gets a 360 so i can take his xbox
