underwater level

just looking for input and ideas for making a underwater level

these are the things that i would class as absolutly nessacary for an underwater level IMO...

a shorter view distance, kinda "water fog"

a higher jump distance... say twice as high as normal.... but at half the speed of normal... (so kinda like half gravity)

half movement speed.... because of "Water Drag"

depending on how deep, mabye turning on the chief's flashlight.

and somehow get whatever it is that adjusts the sounds in the spacestation map for the space effect.

thats just my ideas on what i belive should be in an underwater level.

go to game gloabals and put all stuf at half

well r u talking about a completly underwater map here like ur walking around in water OR ur underwater in a facility of somekind and u can maybe go out into the water and there would be like huge windows were u can look out into the abyss?

idk. only problem that would get me is how would you make it water all around...add a giant square object and give it a water skin??

that sounds preety cool

youd want some weapons like lasers that would seem to fit underwater


and put in some vehicles like submarines so you could go faster

-Detox-'s BSP Water tool will add actual water to a map.
It's in Utilities. :wink:

Also use the script for making the noise seem muffled...
It'd only work for host xbox's but who cares? :P

like half water in coag so like you go up onto the cliffs and your out and stuff

convert that single player map where your in the elevator underwater and make it so your on the ground though.
