SPI Armor Questions

Hey, I wanted to know if anyone could help me out on making the SPI (Semi-Powered Infiltration) armor that is mentioned in Ghosts of Onyx. If you haven't read the book, SPI is a cross between ODST and Spartan armor. It has no shields, but it has an active camoflage system built into it. I need to know if theres a way to make active camoflage toggleable (is that how you say it?) or some way to make activatable in MP. I'm hoping to use the SPI possibly in a campaign mod and definetly an MP mod. Oh and if anyone knows how to, is there a way to replace the rotating barrels on the rocket launcher with the hog chaingun barrels? I wanted to make a shoulder mounted heavy machine gun, but I'm having doubts...

For MP, you can start with active camoflauge and no shield, but for toggleing it off and on, you may need to copy over a reflexive from campaign (Arbiter). You can do the same for other campaign maps as well. But for no shield in campaign maps, you need to adjust your characters health and shield values.
