If you don't have halo 2 copied to your hardrive, you can still run yelo by putting the disc in at unleash, and launching it normally, but what happens when you try to access xbl? Will you get banned or will it do what it does when you try to access xbl without the disc? (Exit out)

Why wouldn't you just copy halo to your hard drive it doesnt even take long.

i know, but i just want to know what would happen if i tried to access xbl without h2 on my hardrive, yelo on and the disc in.

Well, for one, you can't. Also why would you want to use Yelo on Live?

are you 100% positive you cant, and 100% positive that you wont get banned? Because that is what i am trying to find out. I am not asking to see if i can use it on live...im pretty sure you cant, im talking about when you attempt to login (say by accident), will you get banned?

Bungie doesn't know, and doesn't care if you log in by accident. As long as you have modded content, you are gone, simple as that. And we don't support live modding here (don't say "I don't want to know how to mod on live", because you are asking if you can get Yelo on live).
If you want to mod over the internet, use XBC and go to thier halo mods section.

argh ...will someone please just answer my question...it is very simple:

what happens when you try to access xbl while using yelo without halo 2 on your hardrive AND with the disc in.

I will make it even easier for you by telling you the two possibilites to this question:

#1 It works, but you get banned from xbl after
#2 It will not let you login, just like it doesnt when you try without the disc

It is one of these two...but I am afraid to try because I don't want to get banned, so I am asking to see if someone else has tried this, I just want to know what happens

you know you're wrong about that right? idk if i am allowed to talk about what you can and cannot use on xbl thats considered "mods", so ill respect those rules if they exist and simply tell you you're wrong, you can use modded content on xbl without getting banned...

and btw for anyone who wants to know, i just gave up and tried it for myself, and it is actually possibilty #2, phew!

You can't use Yelo on XBL.

And you will get Banned eventually, it ALWAYS happens.




Just don't talk about Modding on XBL here.
