How do u dual weild swords properly?

I plan on suprising my unmodding friends in a lan game with a few un expected mods and so I went and opened up dot halo and set the energy sword to dual weildable and save it and stuff and ftp it to my xbox I get ingame and load up the map and when I can dual weild them but when I attack the second sword that I picked up drops. I cant figure out what to do can someone plz help me with this i only have a few more days till this lan party.

afaik this hasn't been fixed yet. It has always acted this way.

beside unless all your friends are watching your screen, they won't see you duel wield them either.

lol its fun though on split screen to duel wield a sniper and a rocket and be a killing machine
