bipd question

Whenever i try adding a brute, marine, sergent johnson, cortana, and any other bipd from single player to multi-player it doesn't work right. i make it so that they should shoot out of a pp but the game just freezes. Can someone tell me what i am doing wrong? Also, i am putting it in the map by enitity, i save and build it.

Try just draging it over w/ insolence. If all you are doing is shooting as a projectile it should work fine.

first person? i need to fix that to spawn it out of a gun? if so, what do i do to fix it?

just use the save and build feature of entity and null out sounds that come with the bipd. and then try it.

Also you should make sure you are spawning it correctly out of the gun... There have been some problems before with that. Make sure that you selcet the plasma pistol shot.proj in the weap tag and swap it for odst.bipd
or whatver biped you are shooting out...

Where do i null out the sounds from?
