Uhmm, not sure, but why do you need the textures to look in game in the modelsing program? Just wondering...

Maybe he wants to make a render or an animation or many other thoughts, now think, was that comment really necessary?
The first picture didn't look that bad, the only problem I saw with it was the side of the large righthand tower.

to get them sharper converting them to bmps in photoshop, those may show up crisper, also it would probally make it look better if you put the bumps on there

mh ok, now i have saved it as a bmp, and addet the bump maps i could export from lockout,
a few things look realy great, but these textures:
-catwalks
-right tower exterior
-main_cell_exterior
are very unsharp, but i think its impossible to make them sharper because they are 512x512 and the model they are applied to, are very very big,
here is another render, now with the textures correctly applied, that you can see how unsharp these textures are:
mh a resolution of 512x512 is too small i think, to look sharp they should have a resolution like 2048x2048, cause of the big models,
mh it looks never like ingame, there is something wrong... pls help me,
or look at this here is ascension:
but when you look closer to textures which are applied to big teritories:
its unsharp

yes i know^^ but for these textures arent bump maps in lockout.map but i ve played a round halo2 and looked at the textures, then i saw that there others are in use, so it must be a bug of etiny or so
now the map looks realy good i think
thxx for help
but in ascension i have no idea to make to look it better
