HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

How would I beable to mod my New Maps so I can play they on my Burnt to HDD Halo 2?? This would be WITHOUT the AU so I CANNOT go on live. (Like beable to swap them back and forth between comp and xbox, then play).

You can add them to the main menu by follow the tut in the files forums (getting a link 1 sec)

I have that, but can you still mod the maps from the mainmenu.map?

Wait, are you sure? Because I opened up DotHalo and opened it, but.....There was only like a battle rifle, plasma rifle, the master chief in the biped, and like.....????

Or do I have to transfer the map file (the ACTUAL map file, not the main mune file) to the xbox to mod it or sometin?

You need the Origional Map File.

I think you are confused. You don't mod the main menu to mod your map. You add it to the main menu, then put it in your main maps directory, then you can mod it like a normal map with no TDATA resigner. There are sevral patches hanging around the files which add them all to your main menu, then all you have to do is pop the maps into you maps folder. Or if you want to do it yourself its in globlals. But I would recommend patching it first with err, whats that guys name who made that awesome main menu patch that gives each a DDS slot? Some one should know.

ooooh i think i get it now. So, i mod the original map file (I have) and THEN i add it to the main menu file, then stick it in my xbox? oooooh....ok. Now i gotta go find the app =\
