HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

could someone help me find out how to get a halo 2 map into the halo 2 disc, because i would like to try out a few maps here. could someone give me a few steps on how to do this? Thanks to anyone who helps me.

You can't add a map to the halo 2 disc.

If you want to know why, i'll explain. the DVD (Disc) that halo 2 is on is not a re writable disc, and even if it was the exbox does not have a dvd burner. therefore, the disc cannot be written on. you need to load your halo game onto your hard drive using a program like DVD2XBOX.

What you are wanting to do is put halo 2 maps on a halo 2 cd? correct? Well thought so... but you cannot do that for 2 reasons... One the disk is protected... Second the disk is not rewriteable... However i know how to make h2 disks and i'm not posting here because i don't know if it is aloud... Hope This helps! and hows my sig? just got done makin it...

Well the last time i went to www.halomods.com it would not find it plus i'm use to my rules so sorry and can i just get the image size needed? or can i keep it like this? and not put a avatar and another sig

I tried DVD2XBOX but all i could find is the source for the program, and not the actual program itself.

You cannot edit a halo 2 disk... it is protected.... also it is not rewriteable....

You also have to have a mod chip in your Ecksbocks right? Well, thats what I was told
