Need some skinning help

Ok so I've been following the skinning tuts and when I get to the point when I inject the new dds, 90% of the time it says that it needs to be dtx1 or whatever, when I'm positive It already is dtx1

your injecting with CH2R i guess by that error message....
ive had that message before and its kinda retarded.... it says "File Format Must Be DXT1" or somthing, when you save in DXT1..... its kinda retarded, basicly its pointing out that the file you are trying to inject is DXT1, not what the file needs to be...
taking a wild guess that your injecting a Warthog skin (DXT3), for Warthog Turrets (DXT5) basicly when you extract the orignal Texture with CH2R note what it says the texture is... so you allways know what to save as.
