Glass Walls

Hey guys,

I'm just going to come straight out with it, I'd like to know how to make glass walls. I downloaded a glass walls ppf from www.xboxsaves.com, but that doesn't cut it for me. I'd like to know how you would actually go about making it. I'm not asking for a step by step, though it'd be nice, I'm looking for more of what program I should be using. I applied the patch but now I don't know where to look to see the changes. Just a point in the right direction would be appreciated.

Well if you don't care how thick it is you can take a nice, flat piece of scenery and null out all the shaders of a model and give it the foot of something like glass.

Thanks for the quick reply,

Basically, I'll use lockout for example, I want to basically turn all stone and metal structures to glass, almost the consitancy of ice. That's what this ppf does anyway and I'd like to know what changes it actually makes.

oh that would be skinning, look for tuts on this site.

Yeah either they skinned it or they put the shaders of the warthogs glass all over the map.

It might be skinning, picture lockout as being completely made of ice, you can see through basically everything. Hopefully that helps.
