ok, i have no idea what i am doing. i dont mod, i just saw these maps and i was amazed so i said, i gotta have those, and i cant figure out how i can put it on a cd or dvd. i got the killtrocity map pack iso at http://www.coritron078.xboxsoftmods.org ... _Final.rar and i dont know if its the right one because everyone is talking about some read me thing, and i dont see anything,so what do i do? is the file i downloaded ready for me to put on dvd, or do i need some program to do something to it. its says its ready to burn, but im not sure.

You need a modded xbox to have those, either begin modding or forget about it, becuase there is no way to have those work on your xbox without it being modded.

why would need to, woldnt it think it was a game and play it like a nomal one? and wouldnt it be like playing a modded custom game on xbox live? cuse i play a lot of modded games but i dont have a modded xbox. i just want to put the killtrocity map pack on a dvd so i can play it. it would load up the start menu, and i would go to a game and play the map. it makes sese to me.

What you just said shows you are not a modder, that mappack system that you downlaoded is a system that requires the original maps from you halo 2 DVD which you can only get by modding your xbox, downlaoding full maps is illegal. But the main reason is that when you make a DVD your xbox won't recognize it, the xbox has copyright protection in the form of a Microsoft Signiture to make sure its authentic, when you make a DVD it doesn't have this signiture so it will not read in a nonmodded xbox. Also Xbox live modding is prohibited here, don't talk about it and don't do it, or else you get the big ban. Also read the rules before you post an avatar, and fix your current one.

oooo ok. that makes sense. and i dont mod on live. our cla doesnt mod in matchmaing, just custom cuse its fun.

Even modding for fun on XBL is prohibited here, its against the ToS of XBL, so we don't do it.

Well it doesn't matter when you get live you agree to their ToS saying that you basically will not modify content. We dont' want the bungie police after us.

On Topic- you need to be able to ftp your halo 2 off your cd and then use the patching program in the killtrocity map pack to patch the maps into the killtrocity ones. Even if that iso you downloaded has the maps you can't load the dvd up unless your xbox is modded.

haha you make me laugh do you consider new firmware a mod becouse I consider it a upgrade that is all, ps i dont have xbox live lol.

Umm thats a mod. I mean a virgin xbox for unmodded, but if you put that on, you have a modifed xbox, and use the quote next time, I hate hate reading my own words not knowing they're mine, plus its for 360 and if MS doesn't authorize it, its a mod.

MR smarty pants a firmware upgrade is an upgrade not a mod and if it is then that means the patch bungie/microsoft made for halo is a mod so in that case no one has a modded/"virgin" xbox think b4 u post think b4 u post i dont and look at my posts...

Upgrading the firmwire is basically modifying the xbox aka modding.

no its not its just the cd drive the cd drive isnt even the xbox besides the fact that there is over 5 different cd drives that they sold the xbox with so are you telling me if I switch my samsung cd drive which came with my xbox with my hitachi drive which came with my other xbox i will be modifying my xbox dam i can do that without even breaking the warrenty sticker...
