flood bipd fixing

how exactly can i make the flood combat elite, and flood combat human bipd work, whenever i try to do it like i would any other bipd it freezes the map... help

All of the flood have a extra thing that you have to do with them for them to work, i'll look for the tut.

As in ai in mpa? Its perfectly possible but quite oh so very difficult. Brok3n Halo got close but then got lazy...

Don't know why the biped is freezing the map though.

Remember to keep a back up.

no not ai in mp, but i want to have a working char tag, wich can now be done with yelo. i already got the flood infection working, and i posted it in the files forums. but the damn flood bipds won't work

O they won't work because someone said that the bsp doesn't have paths set out for the other chars to work.

no the char will work, i've put coags bsp into single player and teh char spawned fine, it was realy dumb, but they did spawn and they did attack when u got near them, i want to do that in mp and all i need to do is get the damn bipd to work

gardian if i send u a pach u think u could get them to work?

yeah i know the char will spawn it's just they won't be able to move around because they don't have paths to follow.

Do some jmad editing. I think you can set the character to go on Patrol, which will make it move around randomly and kill people if it sees them, but then again I don't know for sure. Post the patch here and I will see what I can do.

hey i love your ai mod i tried to spawn a flood combat form it worked
then i killed it and the infection foms ressurected it but it froze :cry:

Well you should have read Trulifes post... He said that paths needed tpo be layed out for the ai. Multiplayer maps fon't have paths laid out because Ai was never meant for them. They can't play on there playground because they don't know where to go or do anything. The paths are basically the playground skelton, the bsp is the meat of the playground though.

Confusing? Probaly :P .
