Possible to show holstered weapons on players?

Since we can only have 2 holstered weapons, I was wondering if there is a way for the weapon to be attached to the player model when not in use. Such as, when I'm using my pistol, my BR is holstered on my back. Any ideas? THANKS!!!

You could add a chunk to the player, but i don't thin you would be able to show the weapon your not using.

Turk could rig it to be attached to the player model. So could I. What I don't know how to do, though, is to rig it so that it only attaches the weap you have holstered. Like, I could just strap a BR on MC's back, but it'd be there the whole time, but not be usable.
I had toyed with the idea of mounting a resized pelican rocket pod or a chaingun on MC's shoulder, but I couldn't come up with any ideas to make it fire.

you could replace the grenades with it

Yeah, I'd thought about that (I'd actually forgotten about that idea 'til now), but you know how I am with actually following through on these things. If anybody wants to steal that idea, go for it. The know-how is in the tuts in my sig.
Anyway, back on topic, I don't know a whole lot about scripting, but i wonder if it'd be possible, through scripting, to rig several variations of the MC hlmt. Each variation could have a diff weap attached to it and when you holster a weap, it'd switch to that variation.
If anybody thinks they can pull it off (assuming scripting could even do this), I would be willing to do the weapon attaching for them.
