HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

I would like to learn how to script in Halo 2. I would be thankful if somemne could write me a tut on the basics of Halo 2 scripting. If someone could teach me they can PM me. Note that I know almost nothing about scripting. Thanks. I wrote this post using LinksBoks for Xbox (pain in butt)

I suggest that you first read the tut ALL THE WAY THROUGH, yes ALL the way through, and understand the material before using the newly releasedprograms or manually.

Yeah. It is a little confusing, but I plan on reading it all the way through 2-3 times before I try my first Halo 2 Script. I have read it all the way through once. Thanks for the advice. It just better secures me that I HAVE to reread it in order to be able to script. No biggy. I like reading if it is about computers or Halo.

I find it kind of tricky when it comes to doing scripts that need triggering. Like push this button and a crate spawns. But the stuff like low grav, changing weather intensity etc. is easy.

I also have trouble finding the hex for the scripts individually, I'm looking for what the stuff says in the tut, but I still can't really find it. If someone made a script DEcompiler, it would be a lot easier.

there is a decompiler and a compiler out, just look in the utilities section of the files.

I found the compiler, but I can't find the decompiler.

Can you get a link?
