Distorted sky

Ok how would i go about making a sky's fog have a distorton effect rather than just a little bitmap?

I'd love to know that as well. Maybe it can be rigged to have a bump map instead of a normal bitmap. Perhaps dig around in the prt3's (if indeed fog is a prt3) and see if there already is a distortion one.

yea theres a distortion prt3, actually two, but the only dependcy in the fpch is a bitmap, I tired swapping it for a prt3 but that locked the xbox up. I've also tryed swapping the bitmap in the fpch to the distortion ripple thing I'll try somemore things though.
EDIT: I found a way to fake It I can't get a good screen shot though, ut what you do is make flashlight the colosuss lift effect, turn on the first person flash light and ajust the first person marker so you can see it, it kinda looks more like a earth quake than a desert.
