Question on Sniper Model import

when i edit the sniper model to my liking and then import it back into the map as a new model. The sniper screen is screwed up. Its all distorted, Why is that? I didnt make any changes to the screen so i dont see why that would happen.

did you use dark matter, becuase dark matter screws the UVWs over.

nope used entity. I was testing it cause iv been trying to get the sniper screen on a new model of mine. I did it with the BR numbers the exact same way but the screen is alot harder. The texture remains fine but the screen is screwy. ill take a pic and upload it in a few minutes

if the screen was working correctly i could see that warthog but i cant. its distorting the image.

it could be the placemeant on the model =\. Not sure about it though. Try leaving it in the same place as the orignal one on the new model and see what happens.

k i tried that it it didnt work. I only changed the length of the barrel so i could confirm ingame that the model changed. IOt didnt work. Its still distorted

It might be something with what texture goes where, that either milkshape or entity is screwing up, try extracting the modle then just doing a straight import for the extracted thing.
