Projectiles from the sky?

I was playing xbc, I picked up a pp, shot it and a rain of bullets came from the sky. How do I do that? It was like the grim reaper decided to use guns instead of his sythe or god smiting people.

im not exactly expert but you change the z cordinate (under the weapons tag) to something higher than zero. and make sure if you use like needles as the projectile to make the life span longer

ya, all you do is change the z coordinent to like 50 for most maps.

Do I change the speed of the projectile, I don't want to shoot and have the person move away and miss.

You should change the speed, yes, but life span is more important (so the projectiles will reach the ground)

Weap tag.

Also, you can change the amount of projectiles it shoots out so that it is like a shower of projectiles, otherwise it will just be 1 projectile(or 3 from the BR).

You could also change the shot spread or accuracy or something to at its lowest 1 and highest 3. That way it looks more like an airstrike.

The best accuracy is 3? I though the lower the better. I think I need to pay more attention.

Well if you put it lower then it will land in one spot. If you raise it then it will scater in a general area.

That's way to high. Also, change the X cord so it's the same as the Z cord too.

Yes because the projectile appears from the coordinates you enter relative to the character firing them. Basically, if it was an XYZ graph, the person firing the weapon is the origin or point (0,0,0). X makes the weapon fire further in front of you if it is positive and will make the projectile appear as if it came straight down from the sky instead of at an angle. Try experimenting, it's fun.

Which program do you use for this. Im using dot halo and it doesnt show anything to do with y z coordinates

Nice bump. And you have to look in the weap tag.
