String editing for plasma pistol Help! On acension.

Ok I've looked every and now found one single clear tutorial on how to do this...So anyone who can help would be greatly appreciated.

The little turning thing on Acension, its pillars, I've seen them edited for the plasma pistol before so the charged plasma pistol shoots thes little pillars...

Can someone please help me with a detailed tutorial?

Change the Plasma Pistol's charged bolt PROJ (in dependencies) to the pillar MACH tag.

Can we be slightly more specific? Just how do I go about do that changing tangs, and this and that and all that crap.

1. Open Ascension in DotHalo.
2. Browse to [WEAP] objects/weapons/plasma_pistol/plasma_pistol
3. Switch to the Dependencies window.
4. Find and select the entry labeled [PROJ] objects\weapons\pistol\plasma_pistol\projectiles\plasma_pistol_charged_bolt.
5. Go up to the top where it has two dropdown boxes. one that says "proj" and one that says "objects\weapons\pistol\plasma_pistol\projectiles\plasma_pistol_charged_bolt". Switch "proj" to "mach". You'll notice that the other box will switch to "Nulled Out". Switch it to the tag for the antenna.
6. Click "save changes"
7. Close, Resign, and FTP!
