Yeah, all the maps that came with Halo 2 are on the disk. Just start up your Xbox, wait for the dash to load, pop in your disk, then go to your FTP program, connect to your Xbox, then go into your D (or whatever drive is your disk drive) drive, and, you should see all the contents of the Halo 2 disk, just go into the maps folder and FTP the maps over. NOTE thtat the 'new' maps aren't on the Halo 2 disk.

Uh, splinter cell, what? The is a Halo 2 Map Pack. You know that right?

FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol. Programs like SmartFTP and FlashFXP are designed to transfer file on this protocol, which is one that your modded xbox will understand. They want you to put your halo 2 disk in the xbox disk drive, then open ftp and connect to your xbox. Then copy the map files straight off of the Halo 2 disk.

Is your Xbox modded? If not mod it, if it is, load the modded dashboard, put in Halo 2. Then look for IP address. If you want to FTP using internet Explorer, type in the address bar, "ftp://xbox.xbox@youripaddress" without quotes and repace where it says youripaddress with your xbox's IP Address. Then go to /D/maps and there are your maps, you don't need SP maps for this map pack. Just copy the maps to your PC from /D/maps, and you should be good.

I don't think a person should mod an xbox unless they understand what FTP is.

and i cant just put the H2 disc in my xbox as i have the splinter cell in with Evolution X on it

Go to www.xbox-scene.com and do not ever take advice on how to mod an xbox from anyone on xbox live. You most likely learned about modding through xbox live because you talk like an un-informed xbox live kiddie so go to xbox-scene.com and learn about how to mod an xbox.

FYI: There three ways to mod an xbox not just through softmods.

Oh so you don't have softod installed? Well look on xbox-scene for how to use #xbins and get an installer. I suggest one of Krazie's installers. There pretty easy, and there are tuts on how to do it. Once you do that your dashboard should launch without splinter cell in the Xbox.

llama what u said is what i'll need 2 do to at least get myxboxmodded, but just 1 question about it. when i go online Halo 2 with out the mods, just regulary playMatch Making, will the updates detect that m xbox is modded? otherwise, i wouldn't be able 2 do this. otherwise thanks even tho that this will take some time to do

you shouldn't go on live with a modded xbox.. but as long as you're not cheating, i dont see any harm so i'll answer your question:

as long as you cold boot, your xbox will not be any different from an unmodded xbox while in halo 2. cold booting means you find a way to make it go directly from off to loading your game, no dashboard loading of any kind.

Is your Xbox modded? There's no working linux for Halo, only exploitable games.
