help with gate problem + pelican problem (coag)

okay, i injected the mach, & hlmt for the containment gate into my coagulation, now when i swapped the itmc of the RL for it, it spawns but its not solid. like i can walk right through it and fall right through it when i try to stand on it.. HELP PLEASE?!...
also, i was wondering if anyone knew how to make the pelican spawn without flipping insanely...

Is there a phmo for the gate also in the map? Make sure that it is there. If not put it in also and relink it.
About the flipy pelican... There is no correct solution for it. You can place it on a mach though like laying the containmeant gate flat and placing the pelican on it upright. This is becuase the pelican holds a mach collison but lacks a bsp collison. Thats why it flips madly.

okay, i re-injected the pelican because i deleted the first mod (it was pissing me off), and insolence added the phmo tag automatically when it added the machine. but i still fall through it, and the pelican doesn't sit ontop of it... what does the phmo tag do, how do i make it do what i want, and why isn't it already doing it?sorry for all the questions, i'm trying to learn how to be a decent modder and accually understand what i'm doing lol

Okay. How are you spawning the Gate exactly? Lets try to get that figured out first.

I am modding coagulation and i swapped the weap of the rocket launcher (inside the itmc tag for the weapon) with the mach "scenarios\objects\multi\containment\base_gate_blue\base_gate_blue"
so that it will spawn where the rocket launcher is (but i changed the Z cord so it spawns off the ground a little bit)
EDIT:
LOL, i re did it again, and it randomly works now!! WOOT!!

Yay Glad it worked =] . Not sure why you were having problems then =P. Reminds me of when they first figured out how to add a mach to a map and postion it... =P those were the days. Also reminds me of when I added the containmeant gate as one of my first mods. I did the exact same thing as you did here and it worked out fine. Thats why I asked how exactly you were doing it.
