This doesn't belong here, but I read somewhere that your bipd get partially stuck in the ground, and so the physics engine push you out, with alot of force. And thats also why you sometime go through the ground, and comit suicide or get killed by the guardians while doing one

well from what I understand, when you crouch under something and let go of crouch and walk away it makes you sorta like a bsp attachmeant. When you jump down onto the line where two bsp mesh faces meet. Since you are sorta like a bsp attachmeant it is liable to have you fall through the ground and get stuck. When you get stuck the game thinks "Wtf is this, why is the a ******* player in the ground?" it thinks this because there is space being shered between to objects that shoulden't be shared. It gets pissed and shoots out the player, either up or down.

Hope that gives a understanding =P.
