What is the correct way to add an effect to a bipd or a weapon? I've tried a few things but i screwed up and they dont show up.

I've never tryed it but you may do the same kind of thing when you attach a flash light to it, look at the reflexives and try to figure it out, try adding a chunk to the atachment reflexive in entity, but it might need a marker in the model for it to show up.

Where do you get the fire effect from? Is there a fire effect in every map, because every time I go to change the effect attached to something, I can't find the fire effect in the effe tag. Can you help?

Code: Select all

Adding Fire To MP Map:
ok this is wat i do.. open insolence and open the map floodzone and scrool down to the *scen* tag and click on the effects\scenery\fires\fire_basic_smoky_enormous. then open the map u wish to add it to and just drag and drop it in that map.. next u will want to scroll down to the *scnr* tag and double click that .. u will see a list of options on the right side. click on *Scenery Palette* on the far right side theres a drop down box with a bunch of numbers. just click on the drop down box and scroll through the numbers untill u find what u want the fire above to be and double click on the scenery under the ID and swap it out with the effects\scenery\fires\fire_basic_smoky_enormous. then resign the map and then ftp
