I added a second backwash to the main menu but it won't work. My oringinal backwash is modded so i made a copy of the backup and ftped it to my xbox in the new slot i named b4ckwash. It failed to load the map when i tried it so I used the Halo 2 es on b4ckwash and ftped it again to my xbox, but when i tried the map, it failed to load again.

I'm not sure what i did wrong. If anyone has a quick tip or suggestion it would be really helpful. Thanks.

In the main menu you have to have the map named B4ckwash, and for the map that you want to load under that name you have to rename its scenario to match that to the main menu. If you dont understand due to my sucky tut writing skills just do a search for a tutorial here or the file forums for adding new maps the main menu.

I have the both maps on the main menu, it just fails to load. Does the halo 2 es not work correctly on it because of the hex and name editing?

Did you resign the map?

yeah but it still didn't work.

did you rename the scenario of the second backwash?

Make sure you resign the map using CMR (you have to resign all the new maps with CMR or they won't work). Also, I don't think the added main menu maps will work with the 1.2 auto update (I have the 1.1 auto update and I added a map to the main menu once and it worked just fine).

also dont forget, maps added to the main menu can only be played by those that also have the map in their map folder and have the same scenario, or was it map name, as you.

the main menu olny looks for maps in the maps folder. not the 4d530000000000000000000000000000064 folder
