3ds max help

when i go to import a wavefront.obj ex: the magnum it gives me import options. i hit ok and gives me an error and suggestions that dont work then the program closes.can someone tell me what im doing wrong.

can someone just please answer my queston:i go to import a wavefront obj in 3DS MAX 7 it gives me import options . i leave ihe import options the way they are and hit ok. i get an error that gives me sugestions. none of them work and then the program has to close. what am i doing wrong
how do i import wavefront obj ?

ok for some reason i cant import wavefront .obj i get an error from 3dsmax what am i doing wrong? if anyone knows plz pm me or reply.
