HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Ive completed all of the patching and I deleted all the maps in my halo 2 games folder and transferred all of the maps over into that folder but now when i load halo 2 up off of my hdd none of the maps appear...? I was wondering if there was a certain mainmenu.map that should have been transferred or something that never got done... well i dont really know so if anyone knows what the problem is please help me out...? Thank you

Oh and I just figured out that the only maps showing are my mimesis maps from a while back and it still plays the mimesis mainmenu when launched...

You can't fit the Mappack on the stock Xbox HDD. You need to make it into an ISO and burn it to a DVD, and play it like that.

someone told me that it would fit and im pretty sure someone else posted in a different thread that it would work....

But even if it doesnt fit wouldnt some of the maps come up or at least anything of the map pack come up?

stop sayin it won't fit on the hdd
hdd is bigger than a dvd
also the problem with the maps not showing up is because the mainmenu in the serenity was a dud

Fine, then you guys find out the way to fit it. I have tried it and it did not fit on mine.

wait what is ur problem exactly.
if u can't fit halo 2 on ur hdd u have to delete everything that doesn't have to do with halo 2
then delete your all of ur single player maps and everything should fit

no my problem is that after i transferred all of the modified maps to my xbox and load it up none of the killtrocity map packs show up only my mimesis maps do... so now does anyone know why the maps arent an option when i select which map to play?

it is becasue of the main menu serenty was a dud

I can fit Halo 2 on my HD but not the whole Mappack. The Mappack has a bunch of freakin' Maps.

before i upgraded my HDD, if i REALLY needed space on E:, i would Delete all my music off the HDD, all unnecary save files, and all the Campaign maps of HALO 2, and i usually ended up with a fair decent amount of space, (a good 3GB, mabye even more)

so if you need space, theres a thaught.

mappack fits for me, just got it yesterday actually and I have 2.3 gigs free on the stock HDD...as for your maps showing up your going to have to add them to the mainmenu yourself
