OK First question about those containment gates, I move the actual gate and the gate control but the control doesn't work and you have to go to the origonal spot to activate the gate, so how would it be possible to move the "press X to open gate" so that it is the same position as that part of the machine. Second, the gates don't get moved on unmodded boxes in system link when I'm host right? So is there anyway to make them move on someone else's non-modded box?

To move the switch, you can use Entity's BSP viewer with Machines turned on. It is not possible to have the gates shown on an unmodded Xbox.

I did do that, the little bitmap thing is where I want it but it doesn't work, I have to go back to where it usually is to open the gate

What your moving is the mach of of the control ("scenarios\objects\multi\containment\base_switch\base_switch") and not the actual control ("scenarios\objects\multi\containment\base_gate\house_gate_control", which is found in the ctrl tag) which is 'invisible', and also cannot be moved in the bsp viewer. But, don't give your hopes up, as you can easily move it manually to the cordinates of the controls mach. Also, duplicating controls is something people havn't really figured out let, but they're like teleporters, each one has a bind and everything.

thanks; I don't know much about SLC, but could you get the gates to move by duplicating a bloc(they're networked right?) then swaping the meta of the bloc to the mach tag?
