Hey, I downloaded a mod from (here i think) and it say's this in the instructions..
Instructions:

make a copy of the coagulation map
rename it to pitchblack
patch the pitchblack map with the pitchblack ppf
patch the mainmenu map with the mainmenu ppf
re encrypt with tf6 encryptomatic
send back over to xbox (overwrites original mainmenu.map)
load up

However, I dont know how to make copies of the maps that are on the game itself, wehre do i find these in the xbox?? Like the new maps are in the folder /E/TDATA/4d530064/$c/4d53006400000003..

Thank you.

Put Halo 2 in your xbox disc drive then FTP to it and open the D drive and look in the maps folder.

sorry to double post, but one more question.. haha..

TF6 Encryptomatic, if you have to use that, can you use coolspot31's map resigner instead? or do you have to use Encryptomatic?

Coolspots is used for TDTATA modding which is bad. Just add Halo 2 to your xbox HDD.

Wait, wait, you can mod the Halo 2 CD and have the mods actually work, even on unmodded Xbox? I tried to mod th Halo 2 CD once, but when I started it up, the mods didn't work. But I don't suggest modding you Halo 2 CD if you can, becaouse it the the source for all you unmodded Halo 2 maps if you mess yours up. But it would be cool, becaouse none of my friends have Halo 2 modded, and i want to mod my CD and let them borrow it so they can check out my mods and stuff.
