Train-O-Rama

ok, me and a mate (Keyboard Killer) have been stuffing around with the trains on Terminal, we have effectively slowed them down to allmost half thier orignal speed, we have also stopped the deathball... (the deathball travels slightly ahead of the train, and when your killed by the deathball it says "Killed By The Gaurdians"... when we stoped it from moving, it now says "Suicide" when your hit by the train (i beleve its more realisttic)...
well anyway, ben left halfway thru the game (fell off the internet) and after the bluescreen reconnect, there were now 2 trains on the map at the same time, for the remaining time of the game... (attached image)
so we have set about finding out how to get both trains to spawn at the same time like in that glitch, and we even hope to throw the timers out of sync, so the trains will pass each other at different points along the tracks.. we are halfway thru screwing with the numbers in the MACH of the train to no luck... some changes have made it so just the trains headlights will spawn, and others so nothing but the sound spawn (you still die when hit by it) but were coming up short of finding what we want to find, i have changed the "Delay Time" from 0 to 10, then 100 then -10 then 100, to no affect what so ever, so we have been stuffing with every number we could find, and so far nothing that comes close to what we are trying to acheve.
we are trying to acheve more tthan one train at once on random intervals, so say, everynow and then 2 trains will pass by each other, and so on.
any ideas?

from the pic at the bottom it looks like you somehow disconnected the trains i dont know how but it does look pretty cool..the spawn theing is alittle wierd i would guess that u cant fix that becasue it happend on accident in the first place..but good luck any way if i find anything out about train spawns ill be sure to say

well, at first i thaught it was a once off glitch, so we tried it again 3 more times, and each time to the same effect.

edit: okay well i looked into it like i said and i opened up terminal in entity's bsp viewer..i click visible spawns..machine,,then i go all the way back where the train spawns..it looks like its coming out a lot out the back
anybody wanna get on AIM and send me a screenshot tool? because i would want to help out but all i have is a screenshot tool that works off fps so ya

ok, to finish this argument, i have only ever seen the delette button in the files forum....
anyway, you said you need something for screenshots? do you mean in windows? cos thats easy... press Print Screen then open MS paint, and go CTRL+V... wala screenshot.
oh BTW.... the train does spawn out the back of the tunnel, i glitched my way into the tunel.. and yeah... it does spawn out there... it also spawns stationary, and starts moving... and the train also dosent follow thr rails... you can move the train in Entity to spawn between both tracks, and it will take that path all the way.

tahnx ill get you a screenshot of what i see your uber-easy scrrenshot method does not work for me.maybe im doin it wrong im at my desktop and i press ctrl+p then what..im confuzzled

okay this is what i mean cant you like dislocate the train to get the same result becasue the end goes out and the new one comes in, delete on the ends and one should go teh other way (right?)

there on some kind of timer system, because iif you slow the train a lot, it will dissapear halfway down the track, and if i moved the train fforward, it wont turn where its suposed to, and it will look wierd... what im trying to do is find the timer and throw it out of sync, and make it so more than one train is on map at once, but not on the same track, so one eastbond and one westbound, at the same time.

I am pretty sure they spawn like pretty much everything else. For example, though, If you get blue screened on live, you have to watch out because if you are holding the only rocket on the level, there will now be two. I caught this glitch with Halo 2 a while back. My guess is that when the map resets it creates new spawn sets. With the trains, it's just the case that now there are two trains spawing at once just like there were two rocket and two swords etc.

Yeah, I think I remember reading that, but most modded boxes don't have those updates. I don't think it was fixed in 1.1.

yeah, my modbox hansnt been on live since about a year before halo 2, (i have "Modified Xbox Error" so my chip was detected..... colin thaught... i will sign in to live runing rainbow six off the hdd!) and so that ended my modbox's live ability, and our friendship.....
so its only got the 1.1 update from the CD, so it dosent have sich fixes.
