Space effect

I want to make a space mod on Lockout. I can do most of it, I just want it to have the space effect like the one on Cairo Station (when you go outside the space station). Does anyone know how I would get this effect in a multiplayer map?

so you mean like Low Grav and the audio filtered?

wouldnt u be transferring jmads? because it is just an aniamtion isnt it they change the gravity somehow but im probably wrong so plz dont flame

Well, when you go outside, it loades and changes to bsp, and when you go back inside, it loades again, swaitching the bsp. So I don't think it would be possible to only have that affect underwater. But there is a way to have that effect in a certain bsp. I'm not quiet sure, but I think it's like trying to add weather to a map with no weather. The space affect it part of the bsp, you just have to find where it is, unless it's already refrenced under one of the tags. Then you would just have to find it and then transfere it over to your map and find a way to put it in. I'll open up that SP map with this 'space affact' in it and see what I can do (I know I said this last time too, but i was too lazy to do anything then).

I think the filtered sound is just a sound environment tag(snde) isn't it?
I'm not sure about the low gravity...

Thanks for your help, and about the low gravity: I could acheive the same effect by changing the jump height.

Yeah, maby that's just what it is. Change the jump hight and the speed of master chief.

O daymn i am so doin this.. of course if i ever post a mod with this technology ill be sure to post your name(platesofpaper) in big letter at the top because this is 100% rightfully your idea but im surprised i havnt though of it earlier..its great

daymn this is harder tha i thought.. i got the bouncyness, and the speed but i cant get the sound from the Spacestation map.. any1 wanna check out the sounds on Spacestation and maybe help out? cuz ive almost got this

and i got the weapons to fire slower as if they were in space which i think i spretty cool
andi think i got the low gravity part but im not sure

It might be i na diff part of the map. I think I've looked through the sounds, but idk.
EDIT: I found something in the [effe] tag. It says:
effects\scenery\solids\zero_gravity_human_objects_sucked
Is that what I'm looking for?

i derno if thats what ur lookin for but i got somethin in my insolence, i was messing around with bipd's and i found
Max soft landing time
Max Hard landing time
Min hard landing velocity
max hard landing velocity
i changed them all to a high number and it feels as if im on Cairo station. i also got it so that if u get beatdown the person u hit will fly back 6-7 feet i think i got most of the stuff..like even when someone shoots you you start scoching back slowly,then faster i think ive got mostve of it DOWN

okay i think that each weapon has a diffrerent sound when its on cairo staion so my idea would be to grab each weapon sound from cairostaion and put it onlockout
