Multiple programs

I understand having multiple programs like adi, h2x, dothalo, insolence, entity, ch2r, and darkmatter (I have those) but why, in many tutorials, I'll see someone go into dothalo to change a value and then switch to insolence so swap a dependancy or vise versa. Or use entity to duplicate a weapon and insolence to change the itmc collection ect.. In both of those situations the multiple tasks performed can be done in either on of the many porgrams the person decides to use.
Just wondering if there was any technical or specific reason people do this?

Preference, and what they've always done. Sometimes it does matter.

I know it matters sometimes but you know for the stuff I listed... anyway I guess it's just a personal thing.
And shade... I didn't think you could do something like swaping an indent imporperly (well less properly than other people) because all you're doing is changin a value (in hex).

I wasnt talkin about indent swapping i was refering to things like tag transfering and chunk cloning. But yeah alot of it is just personal preference....
