The other day I messaged frankie on bungie to ask him about what he thought about modders.-

Hi frankie. I just had a quick questions. What do you think of modders that mod the game for a challenge and not to cheat.


Then he replied

Well yivkX, as long as your not modding to cheat, Bungie and I are perfectly fine with modding. In fact I have been looking at some halo 2 mods online and some seem very fun. Sometimes at bungie we have our programers make us some mods that we can have fun with when we are tired of working. So to answer your question I think modders are good people that have diferent intrests and goals in gaming that arent furfiled by beating the game or pwning some noobs. Hope that answers your question.

I wonder if theyve actually ever played any Halo2 mods from files.halomods.com.

I DO know that they played the Zanzibar for custom edition in a humpday challange.

I would actually be willing to bet that prometheus will be 10x better than their content creation tools, besides the capability of changing things in-game.

It would indeed be cool to compare prometheus to the actual tools used to create it.
I'm starting to feel as if prometheus is a consipiracy. I feel like it's never gonna be released.

I know this topic is kind of old, about a week but does anyone know what frankies email is so I could send him a message also? I think i may be overlooking his mail on the site but any help would be appricated.

About Prometheus. Is the site down for you guys to because whenever I try to go to their forum or site it says access denied. Just wondering if others are having the same problems because I would really like to know what's happening with prometheus.

Well, I was assuming the topic creator isn't a n00b who just wants attention and is being truthful. Also, I've heard elsewhere that bungie does not hate modding, only if you cheat. That letter seems plausible based on other information I've heard (it agrees, it's not like he just made some totally wacko story up that doesn't make sense) and the fact that it takes a pretty stupid person to make something up like that and be n00b enough to post it claiming it's real.

If he did make it up than whatever but maybe frankie does have the grammar of fyour 5 year old brother =S.

Ok, first off, frankie didn't write his post so there goes 8 errors. there is nothing wrong with the word fact so minus an error. I don't see not cappitolizing the h in halo as an error. There is nothing wrong with online. Again, I don't think bungie needs to be capitolized. Actualy, there are two ways to spell programer and his is also right. Make some mods for us is right. There is no comma needed after so. Question is spelled right. So that leaves you with about 3 errors. He made three mistakes. You made 21. It was frankie.
