Alright, I was seeing if I could do SP to MP Conversions with the new tutorial and crap. I finally got one coverted. The New Mombasa Bridge. However, I realized that it's not really great for gameplay. Especially since it's just a straitaway and would definatley not be fun. I was thinking about just not releasing it but maybe there are ways I could improve it for gameplay and release it. If anyone has any idea please help me out :)

at least your pointer tool 4 works!, anyway um if you stuck the cars and stuff on it and more hiding places or even make some walk ways (build them with machs!) it might be cool

All over. Maybe have some here and there above the bridge, off to the side, underneath. Hell, you could go mach-crazy and make it into something else entirely.
But, really, considering how many people I've heard talking about this bsp in particular, I think you should release an unmodified version (either as a stand-alone, or along with whatever else you decide to do to it).

Wow cool ive been waiting for someone to do the bridge it might not be that great for gameplay but it would be amazing for CTF

My suggestion would be to center it around CTF gameplay. Maybe put a flag on each side of the bridge then put alot of obsticals like cars and stuff all over the bridge.. i think it would be pretty sweet.

Or maybe just release and let someone other people take it over that would be sweet to :D

MasterChief2829, How could you say not great for gameplay. This sounds FREAKIN AWESOME!!

My suggestions:

*Give each side a different advantage:
*Blue team gets an extra sniper
*Red team gets a rocket laucher, or an extra vehicle
(Im just saying change it up a bit, so you dont always have the same
routine even when on a different team, gets boring)
* Put a super weapon in the EXACT center of the bridge, rockets or if your
feeling crazy, a scarab gun, though that would probably over do it :D
* If im thinking of the right bridge the it has the hole in it. What you should
do is make a pretty big platform under the hole with scarab doors and
put banshees on it. Imagine being sniped, then at the last second you
make it through the hole, climb in a banshee, fly up top and kill the
sniper with a feeling of victory :D . Then you get blown up by rockets
 . Is it just me or does that sound F**KING FUN.
*Also, add lots of crates and mines on the bridge. Not only for cover, but
you might get lucky and see your teammates crash the hog into a mine.
MUHAHAHA. yes, i know i am evil  .

I hope my ideas help you in making one KICK A$$ MOD :D ,
JoeSchmoe

Oh and one more thing, add teleporters that put you on the top of the bridge. Ok im finished.

have you ever jacked a chee on this map in Campaign? theres a fairly strong banchee barrier at the ends of the bridge that leaves a lot of the map unflyable in it, (like the tunnel section) so if that barrier is still there in MP then a chee would suck in a limated area.

Does the banshee barrier get brought in with the bsp? If so, that's unfortunate.

Thanks everyone, I'll look into this and try to make a great mod with the suggestions. I wanted the mod to be more of community suggestions than rather my personal opinion as it is a mod for the community that should be fun and have great gameplay.

It's good to get suggestions from the community, but you should also make sure it's "your mod" as too much input can make everything feel kind of slapped together, lacking a cohesive theme, or as the old saying goes, "Too many cooks spoil the broth."

:P Yeah, I'm not going to slap all the suggestions together. Only the ones that fit and what I think would make it a great map. However that doesn't mean it could be any better than xzodia or Pig Farker's version >.< Since I got the 360 I have been away from making mods for a while so I need to catch up more.
