do ineed my box hooked to the computer to mod?

does my xbox need to be linked to the computer to open tools like Insolence and DotHalo? also how do you link your xbox to the computer to transfer mods?

You Xbox does not need to be linked to your computer to open up DotHalo or Insolence. But you do need to link your Xbox to the computer to transfer the mods and everything back and forth. To do that you need to FTP with FlashFXP, or SmartFTP.

Might want to check on how to mod your box while your there. Becuase based on the way you posed your question it seems like you dont even have a modded xbox.

yes i just got a modchip yesterday nad i nstalled it and flashed the bios and everything i was just wondering how to connect my xbox. and also it always says that the application failed to initialize whenever i click on insolence,darkmatter, or DotHalo

Ok, make sure that you have the correct .net framwork. It can be found here. Just download and install.

ok well i did that download and now it says "insolence.exe has encountered a problem and needs to be shut down" it does it to all of the programs and it does it when i just click to open them.

i had that .net problem once, the problem is microsofts bad code writing, anyway, i had to install 2 different .net frameworks on this pc, 1.1 and 2.0 i think. (i might be wrong about the 2.0 as ive just formatted cos windows went arse over as usual)
